I, certify that the following is a true extract from the minutes of an ordinary meeting of the Waitomo District Council held on 23 June 1983:

Declaring land vested in council to be a local purpose Reserve, Lot 3, on S.O. 451:

188/83, moved Cr Lilley seconded Cr Hammond that pursuant to the provisions of section 14 (1) of the Reserves Act 1977, Council hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto is to be a local purpose reserve for esplanade purposes:

SCHEDULE

430 square metres, being Lot 3 on S.O. 451 being a subdivision of Pt Kaingapipi 11A2, Block XI, Otanake S.D. and located adjacent to the Mokau River near State Highway 3 and Tui Street, Pio Pio.

Notice of intention to pass the foregoing resolution was published in the Waitomo News on 5 May 1983. No objections were received by the closing date of 10 June 1983.
