Thence in a northerly direction along the middle of the State Highway through Blocks VII and VIII, Maketu S.D. to and along the middle line of the Paengaroa-Maketu Road through Blocks VIII and IV, Maketu S.D. to a point in line with the northern boundary of Maketu A107 Block, situated in Block IV, Maketu S.D. and Block I, Waihi South S.D.; thence generally along the watershed of the Maketu and Waihi Estuaries through Blocks I, Waihi South S.D., VI Te Tumu S.D. and I, Otutara S.D. to the shore of the Bay of Plenty at Town Point; thence generally south-westerly and north-westerly along the shore, crossing the mouth of the Maketu Estuary to the point of commencement.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND IN TAUPO FOR THE PURPOSES OF FORMING A PEDESTRIAN ACCESSWAY

NOTICE is given that the Taupo Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for pedestrian accessway purposes.

The proposed taking is considered essential for reasons of providing a publicly developed and maintained accessway, such accessway being an integral part of the pedestrian walkway system in the central area.

Any person having an estate or interest in the land may within 20 working days after the date of this notice, make an objection to the Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be informed of the time and place of the hearing.

ALL that piece of land containing 104.4 square metres, being a strip 3.05 m in width along the eastern boundary of Lot 19, D.P. S. 650, being part of Block XX, Town of Taupo, situated in the Tauhara Survey District.
