Road Closed and the Soil Thereof Taken for the Auckland - Hamilton Motorway in the Borough of Ellerslie

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1981, I, The Right Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, declare the road described in the Schedule hereto to be closed and the soil thereof to be taken for the Auckland - Hamilton Motorway and to be vested in the Crown on the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Proclamation in the Gazette.

SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of road containing 604 square metres, situated in the Borough of Ellerslie, adjoining or passing through Lot 1, D.P. 6856, part Lot 1, D.P. 9647 and N.I.M.T. Railway; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 56357, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of July 1983.

ALL that piece of road containing 23.7 perches, situated in the Borough of Ellerslie, adjoining or passing through land held for the Auckland - Hamilton Motorway, contained in Gazette notice No. 933713; as shown coloured green on S.O. Plan 44503, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 13th day of July 1983.

Declaring Land to be Crown Land

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 11th day of July 1983

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS by deed of grant, dated the 19th day of April 1875, the land described in the Schedule hereto, was granted to the superintendent of the province of Otago under the Public Reserves Acts 1854 and 1862 in trust for the establishment and maintenance of a university in the City of Dunedin in the province of Otago, and of public schools in different parts of the province and for the more general advancement of education in the said province and whereas by section 9 of the Abolition of Provinces Act 1875, the said land was vested in Her Majesty the Queen, in trust for the aforesaid purposes and whereas the said land, is not required for the purposes for which it is held now therefore pursuant to section 15 (5) of the Education Lands Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the date hereof, be Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—WAITAKI COUNTY

1012 square metres, more or less, being Section 2, Block VII, Town of Hampden. All certificate of title 18/272, S.O. Plan 14298.

Vesting Reclaimed Land in the Huntly Borough Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of July 1983

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 175D of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby vests in the Huntly Borough Council the land described in the Schedule hereto, which land was authorised for reclamation by an Order in Council of 19 November 1979*, such land to be vested as a reserve for public use.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of reclaimed Crown land, situated in Block XV, Rangiriri Survey District, containing 2320 square metres and described as Allotment 828, Taupiri Parish, on plan S.O. 51941.

The District Land Registrar is hereby authorised to make such entries in his Register as are necessary to give effect to this order.

Temporary Lieutenant Patrick Wynton Shannon is promoted Lieutenant with effect from 8 June 1983.

Extensions

Lieutenant Patrick Wynton Shannon is granted an extension to his Cadet Force Commission and appointed to Command until 8 June 1986.

Transfer to Super List

Lieutenant Michael Kevin Martin is transferred to the Supernumerary List, from TS Amokura with effect from 23 May 1983 for a period of 1 year.

Sub Lieutenant Terence Rodney Jones is transferred to the Supernumerary List from TS Taupo with effect from 4 June 1983 for a period of 6 months.

Sub Lieutenant Michael John Garlick is transferred to the Supernumerary List from TS Tamatea with effect from 1 June 1983 for a period of 6 months.
