NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1983.

  2. The Bay of Islands County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. The notices dated the 7th day of June 1950†, the 22nd day of May 1951‡, the 5th day of June 1963§, the 4th day of June 1968¶, the 27th day of January 1970|| and the 22nd day of February 1971** which relate to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto are hereby revoked.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Wairarapa Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wairarapa Licensing Committee on 29 June 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Royal Oak Tavern.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Tuesday and Wednesday—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Hawkes Bay Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hawkes Bay Licensing Committee on 24 June 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the National Service Club Inc., Hastings.

To the intent that on days other than those on which the chartered club are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve or Christmas Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Pursuant to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hawkes Bay Licensing Committee on 24 June 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the D.B. Te Mata Hotel, Homestead Bay, Havlock North.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day. And that the order only apply to the bar known as the Homestead Lounge Bar in the said premises.

Pursuant to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 17 June 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the Chartered Club known as the North Shore Cosmopolitan Club (Incorporated).

To the intent that on days other than those on which the Chartered Club are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Pursuant to section 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the West Coast Licensing Committee on 9 June 1983 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Pioneer Hotel, Hokitika, Greyhound Tavern, Arahura, Kokatahi Hotel, Kokatahi, Lake Mahinapua Hotel, Lake Mahinapua, Rapahoe Hotel and McManus Hotel, Westport.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve (not being New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
