In the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, and in the matter of the
Will of Roy Watling Mitchell, deceased:
Pursuant to the Will of Roy Watling Mitchell, late of Green-
hithe, retired farmer, The New Zealand Insurance Company
Limited proposes to constitute a scheme under Part III of the
Charitable Trusts Act 1957, such scheme to be administered in
association with the aforesaid The New Zealand Insurance
Company Limited and the Board of Trustees of Maori Edu-
cation known as the Maori Education Foundation for the
purposes of assisting Maoris financially by way of grants, scholar-
ships and bursaries in pursuing their education in secondary and
tertiary stages.
The application for approval will be heard in the High Court at
Auckland on Friday, the 11th day of March 1983, at 10 a.m. in the
forenoon.
A copy of the said scheme and the affidavits filed in support
thereof in the High Court at Auckland under No. M. 1751/82 may
be inspected at the offices of Messrs Mackay & Gambrill, Solicitors,
Fifth Floor, General Building, Shortland Street, Auckland.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme shall give written
notice of intention so to do to the Registrar of the High Court at
Auckland, to the Attorney-General care of the Crown Law Office
at Wellington and to the Trustees care of the aforementioned firm
of solicitors not less than seven clear days before the above-
mentioned date for the hearing of the application.
