Notice of Intent to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 17 June 1982 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Waverley Hotel, Waverley.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.

Notice of Resolution to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Trust Premises—Invercargill Licensing Trust

Pursuant to section 35B of the Invercargill Licensing Trust Act 1950, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust on 14 June 1982 resolved to vary the usual hours for the opening and closing for the sale of liquor for its premises known as East End Bottle Store, situated at Tay Street, Invercargill.

To the intent that on days other than those on which the premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 a.m. and closing at 1 p.m. Opening again at 2 p.m. and closing at 7 p.m.

(b) On any Friday and Saturday. Opening at 10 a.m. and closing at 10 p.m.

Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

Pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act 1954, section 44B, motor vehicle registration No. FT 8210, Ford Escort motor car, engine and chassis No. Clatlu 75800, owned by Charles Edward Joyce, 173 Clarkin Road, Hamilton, was confiscated by Judge P. J. Trapski in the District Court, Rotorua, on 13 July 1982, in accordance with the above Act.
