Declaring Additional Maori Freehold Land to be Included in a Maori Reservation, Redefining Purposes of Maori Reservation, and Redefining the Persons or Class of Persons for Whose Use or Benefit a Maori Reservation was Created

PURSUANT to section 439 (2) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto, is hereby declared to be included in the existing Maori reservation, known as Mangahauini 1A, Section 47, constituted by Order in Council dated 1 August 1927, and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 4 August 1927, No. 56, page 2616; and notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (c) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the purpose for which the Maori reservation was created is redefined as a marae and urupa; and further notice is hereby given that pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the persons for whose common use and benefit the Maori reservation was created is redefined as the Te Whanau Te Ao Irirangi.

Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1982, No. 13.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Notifying the Exchange of State Forest Land for Other Land—Rotorua Conservancy

PURSUANT to section 22 of the Forests Act 1949, as substituted by section 7 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976, the Minister of Forests has exchanged the State forest land, described in the First Schedule hereto, for other land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Average Price for Apples and Pears for the 1981/82 Season Declared

NOTICE is hereby given that the Apple and Pear Prices Authority has determined, pursuant to section 27 (2) of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act 1971, that:

  1. The average price for all apples purchased by the N.Z. Apple and Pear Marketing Board from growers during the 1981/82 season be 18.1686 cents per kilogram; and

  2. The average price for all pears purchased by the N.Z. Apple and Pear Marketing Board from growers during the 1981/82 season be 24.4444 cents per kilogram.

The Minister of Customs in terms of Regulation 70b (iii) of the Customs Regulations 1968, has determined the following goods as being “wholly manufactured” in respect of Australia:

Stainless steel rod, hot rolled, in coil form, for use by continuous hot or cold drawing operations, other than in the manufacture of stainless steel bars, rods or wire in cut lengths having a diameter of 9 mm or greater.
