8. SUBURBAN RAIL FARES

8.1 Tickets and services

Single, ten trip and monthly season tickets at the prescribed fares will be issued for travel between all stations inclusive on any one of the following suburban services between:

Auckland and Waitakere,

Auckland and Papakura via Waterfront,

Auckland and Papakura via Newmarket,

Papakura and Henderson via Newmarket,

Wellington and Paraparaumu,

Wellington and Melling,

Wellington and Upper Hutt,

Wellington and Johnsonville,

Masterton and Maymorn, and between these stations and any other station between Upper Hutt and Wellington inclusive,

Dunedin and Mosgiel.

8.2 Special suburban fares

8.2.1 Short distance school season tickets: School season tickets, subject in all other respects to the provisions of clause 7 will be issued for use on the following suburban services for journeys not exceeding seven kilometres, at a fare of $14.10 per term.

Wellington - Paraparaumu

Wellington - Melling

Wellington - Upper Hutt

Wellington - Johnsonville

8.2.2 Combined ARA-NZR passenger tickets: Tickets issued at the fares fixed jointly from time to time by the Corporation and the Auckland Regional Authority for combined bus and rail travel shall be deemed to be Corporation suburban rail passenger tickets, and shall entitle the holders of such adult or child tickets to travel without the payment of any additional fare between Auckland and Wiri, either via Newmarket or Orakei, and any intermediate stations between Auckland and Wiri, and between Auckland and Ranui, and any intermediate stations between Auckland and Ranui, but such combined bus and rail tickets shall not be available for any other rail journey whatsoever, unless otherwise authorised from time to time by the Corporation.

8.3 Auckland - Waitakere rail suburban services fares

The following scale of fares shall apply on the Auckland - Waitakere rail suburban services:
