Cancellation of the Vesting in the Waiomo District Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How the Proceeds of Sale Shall be Utilised
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Waiomo District Council and revokes the reservation over that part of the reserve for recreation purposes, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Waiomo District Council in such manner, at such price and on such terms and conditions as the Council shall determine, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

The Wairarapa Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1964, Amendment No. 6
PURSUANT to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy hereby amends the Wairarapa Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1964* as amended by the amendments specified in the Schedule hereto, by adding to the First Schedule hereto under the heading “Lines Authorised” the following paragraph:
“(9) A line commencing at the boundary of the Wairarapa Electric Power Board district and proceeding in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 300 metres in Block 7, Kopuaranga Survey District. The said line is more particularly shown on the plan marked NZE 1028 deposited in the office of the Electricity Division of the Ministry of Energy at Wellington.”

Notice Under Section 5 of the National Savings Act 1940
PURSUANT to section 5 of the National Savings Act 1940, the Minister of Finance hereby authorises the Board of Trustees of the under-mentioned savings banks (being savings banks established under the Trustee Savings Banks Act 1948), to receive investments by way of deposits in investment accounts under the said Act during the investment period commencing on the first day of July 1982 and ending on the 30th day of June 1983:
Auckland Savings Bank;
Taranaki Savings Bank;
Otago Savings Bank;
Southland Savings Bank.

Notice Under Section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940
PURSUANT to section 4 of the National Savings Act 1940, the Minister of Finance hereby prescribes as follows:
(a) The 43rd investment period during which investments may be made shall be the period of one year commencing on the first day of July 1982 and ending on the 30th day of June 1983;
(b) Subject to the provisions of the said Act, the rate of interest to be paid on such investments made during such investment period shall be 3½ per cent per annum;
(c) Subject to the provisions of the said Act, moneys invested as aforesaid during such investment period shall be repayable on the 30th day of June 1985, provided that where interest is not withdrawn by the investor in accordance with section 8 (2) of the said Act, and is added to and becomes part of the principal moneys of the investor under section 8 (3) of the said Act, the amount of such interest together with any interest thereon shall be repayable on the 30th day of June 1984.
