The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment
Pursuant to subsection (3) of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 3606/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 3606:1979.
The manufacture of glue laminated timber.
This amendment has been prepared at the request of the Glulam Division of the Structural Engineered Timber Manufacturers Association (SETMA) and the Testing Laboratory Registration Council (TELARC).
It will specify the requirements for established manufacturing procedures not previously provided for and makes provision for the use of a wider range of wood based materials in glulam manufacture.
Provision has also been made for more flexibility in determining moisture content of samples for testing.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 30 July 1982.

Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.
Number and Title of Specification
DZ 6602 Reception of VHF-FM sound broadcasting. Gratis.
This draft standard describes the technical characteristics of the FM stereo signals broadcast in New Zealand, the carrier frequencies allocated to this service, and other parameters relating to the performance of receivers and receiving antennas.
It specifies certain design characteristics of receivers and receiving antennas that are necessary or desirable for satisfactory reception in the presence of the levels of interference considered likely to occur in New Zealand.
All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon, may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15–23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
