Disposal of Northland Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143c (1) (b) of the said Act, the disposal by way of sale of the land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Northland Harbour Board pursuant to section 143A and section 143c of the said Act, upon the condition that the land is sold at market value, and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing 1297 square metres, more or less, situated in Block IX, Whangarei Survey District, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 39773 and being part of Te Wharauoa Block, as described in Certificate of Title, Volume 1060, folio 40, Auckland Land Registry.

Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Declaration that the Said Reserve Shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands hereby appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for Government purpose (wildlife management), and further declares that the said reserve shall be subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953.

The Milk Producer Allowances Notice 1981

PURSUANT to section 25 (2) of the Milk Act 1967, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. Title and Commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Milk Producer Allowances Notice 1981.
   (2) This notice shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of September 1981.

2. Interpretation—In this notice, unless the context otherwise requires

“The Act” means the Milk Act 1967:

“Approved association” means an association of milk producers approved under section 53 (1) of the Act:

“Treatment station” means any plant or premises used or operated for the treatment of milk:

“Vendor” means a milk vendor within the meaning of the Act.

3. Allowances—(1) There shall be payable to approved associations an allowance as set out in subclause (2) of this clause.

(2) For approved associations with average daily quantities

(a) Of not more than 10,000 litres per day the allowance shall be calculated at 0.325 cents per litre;

(b) More than 10,000 litres but not more than 40,000 litres per day the allowance shall be calculated at 0.246 cents per litre;

(c) More than 40,000 litres but not more than 70,000 litres per day the allowance shall be calculated at 0.211 cents per litre;

(d) More than 70,000 litres the allowance shall be calculated at 0.165 cents per litre.

4. Revocation—Clause 2 of the Second Schedule of the Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notices 1980* is hereby revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This note is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This notice increases with effect from 1 September 1981 the rates of allowances for administration of approved association.

Rate of Fees for Mamosidosis Testing
(Notice No. 2740, Ag. 18/12/1/12)

It is hereby notified for public information that on and after the 1st day of February 1982, there shall be payable to the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries on all mamosidosis testing the respective fees as set out below:

(a) Where the samples are collected and tested by ministry personnel, the rate shall be $3.10 per sample taken and tested, with a minimum fee of $20 per visit;

(b) Where a special visit is requested to carry out the sampling, there shall be payable in addition to the fees set out in (a), a charge for the use of the Ministry’s vehicles;

(c) Where the sample is tested only, the rate shall be 75c per sample, with a minimum fee of $10 per batch of samples.
