Directing the Sale of Land in the City of Wellington

At the Government House at Wellington this 21st day of December 1981

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs the sale of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, together with rights of way created by Transfers 142373, 142374 and 142692, over the part Section 23, named Alameda Terrace on Plan 1268, and subject to Z303, Conditions of Consent by the Wellington City Council, and also hereby directs the sale of the land described in the Second Schedule hereto, such land being no longer required for the purpose for which it was acquired.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 245 square metres, situated in the City of Wellington, being Lot 1, D.P. 1268. All certificate of title, Volume 21C, folio 640 (Wellington Land Registry).

SECOND SCHEDULE

Appointment of Transport Licensing Authority

PURSUANT to section 93 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby appoints

of Carterton, as licensing authority for the Nos. 5B, 6 and 7 Transport Districts, and the Wellington Transport District, for a term commencing on 1 April 1982 and ending on 31 March 1984.

of Waikanae, as licensing authority for the Nos. 5B, 6 and 7 Transport Districts, and the Wellington Transport District, for a term commencing on 1 February 1982 and ending on 31 March 1982.

Additional Judge of the Court of Appeal Appointed

PURSUANT to section 58 (9) of the Judicature Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and with the concurrence of the Chief Justice and the President of the Court of Appeal, has been pleased to appoint

The Right Honourable Sir Clifford Parris Richmond, K.B.E., formerly President of the Court of Appeal,

to act as an additional Judge of the Court of Appeal for a period of 2 months commencing on the 1st day of February 1982.
