Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was, on the 25th day of March 1982, presented to the said Court by ASSOCIATED SUPPLIERS LIMITED, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at 120 St. Asaph Street, Christchurch; and the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 5th day of May 1982, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of the hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose: a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NEW ZEALAND WOOL BOARD

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on 16 April at Christchurch was 262.62 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 21.9 percent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 16th day of April 1982 until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.

BOROUGH OF KAPITI

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Kapiti taken on the 14th day of April 1982 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $5,000,000 to be known as the Capital Development Loan 1981 for the purposes of financing a 5-year capital expenditure programme incorporating the following Paraparaumu ward works:

(a) Major roading/footpath improvements;
(b) Major stormwater drainage improvements;
(c) Reserves improvements.

and the following boroughwide works:

(a) Upgrading of the Raumati swimming pool;
(b) Rock Toe protection of the seawall;
(c) Land purchase and development

while ensuring that annual rate increases in the Paraparaumu ward are restricted to the maximum of inflation (increase in the general price index) or less, resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1771
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 2058
The number of informal votes was 21

I therefore declare that the proposal was REJECTED.

ALLIANCE FREEZING COMPANY (SOUTHLAND) LTD.

Notice is hereby given that on the 16th day of April 1982 a sealed copy of an order of the High Court of New Zealand made on the 2nd day of April 1982 was filed with the Registrar of Companies at Invercargill. The order confirms a special resolution passed by the company on the 26th day of March 1982, to release the sum of $440,381.80 standing to the credit of the company’s share premium reserve account for distribution to the company’s investment members.

The book is well illustrated throughout with black and white photos and line drawings.
