72.8 Between Gracefield-Upper Hutt and Tawa-Plimmerton
Goods of classes C and D consigned inter-island from or to stations Gracefield-Upper Hutt inclusive and stations Tawa-Plimmerton inclusive shall be charged railage for the North Island portion of the journey (i.e. to or from Wellington) at $28.22 per tonne. Small lots shall be charged as prescribed in schedule below.

72.9 Inter-island consignments to or from Blenheim-Koromiko
Goods of classes C and D consigned inter-island from or to stations Blenheim-Koromiko inclusive shall be charged $28.22 per tonne for the South Island portion of the rail journey (i.e. to or from Picton). Small lots shall be charged as per schedule below.

72.10 Small lots
The railage charges for small lots consignments in each island (where applicable) shall be as follows:

72.11 Classes A, B and wool
Goods of classes A, B or wool conveyed over the journeys specified in clauses 72.8 and 72.9 will be charged railage in each island as follows:

Class A at $56.44 per tonne
Small lots shall be charged at the scale prescribed in the schedule above increased by 100 percent.

Class B at $42.33 per tonne
Small lots will be charged at the scale prescribed in the schedule above increased by 50 percent.

Wool-undumped or single dump $4.19 per bale; double dumped or dense packed $25.08 per tonne.

72.12 Parcels traffic
Parcels consigned from stations between Wellington and Upper Hutt (including Lower Hutt and Gracefield) and between Wellington and Plimmerton inclusive to stations between Picton and Blenheim inclusive and vice versa and carried in accordance with the provisions of clause 23 shall be charged as follows. The terminal charge provided in clause 24.5 shall be additional where parcels traffic is consigned from South Island stations to Wellington, Petone, Lower Hutt, or Gracefield.

72.13 Wellington-Picton only
72.13.1 Goods: Goods traffic railed solely between Wellington and Picton via the Cook Strait rail ferry service shall be charged at the following rates irrespective of classification:
