74.4 Instructions on storage
Detailed instructions on the safe packing and stowage of hazardous substances acceptable for conveyance are available from any officered railway station, Manager, Air/Sea Services, or at the offices listed in clause 74.2 or from the Ministry of Transport, Marine Division.

74.5 Markings
Each receptacle containing hazardous substances shall be marked with the correct technical name (trade names shall not be used) and identified with a distinctive label or stencil of the label so as to make clear the hazardous character. Each receptacle shall be so labelled except receptacles containing chemicals packed in limited quantities and large shipments which can be stowed, handled and identified as a unit.

74.6 Documents
In all documents relating to the carriage of hazardous substances by sea where the goods are named, the correct technical name of the goods is to be used (trade names must not be used) and the correct description given in accordance with clause 74.3. The documents prepared by the consignor shall include a Dangerous Goods Declaration Form in triplicate certifying that the goods are properly packed, marked and labelled and in proper condition for carriage.
