Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Ellsmere County Council on the 23rd day of November 1981:

That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Ellsmere County Council hereby resolves that the pieces of land held by the said County in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and the same is hereby, declared to be reserves for recreation within the meaning of the said Act.

Change of Classification of Part of a Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Whitianga Rock Scenic and Historic Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby changes the classification of that part of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a reserve for scenic purposes to a reserve for scenic and historic purposes, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Whitianga Rock Scenic and Historic Reserve.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block XIII, Ohinemuri Survey District, Ohinemuri County

PURSUANT to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Ohinemuri County Council pursuant to the said section 323 and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Classification and Naming of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act, and further, declares that the reserve shall hereafter be known as the Costello Hill Scenic Reserve.
