CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1981
Notice is hereby given that under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, the Christchurch Drainage Board proposes to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of laying drain pipes as part of its flood relief scheme in the general area of the said land. The land was originally designed and is currently used as a drain and such a drain is essential in the area. The registered owner of the land has long since abandoned it and accordingly negotiations for further drainage works proposed are impossible. It is consequently essential for the land to be taken.
Notice is hereby further given that all persons wishing to object to the taking of the above-mentioned land may do so by written notice of their objection sent to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington within 20 working days after the publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land known as Halletts Drain and running from Wilsons Road to Riverlaw Terrace being part Rural Section 54, and being the balance of land in C.T. 76/222 (Canterbury Land Registry).

PURSUANT to regulation 15 of the Wool Industry Regulations 1978, notice is hereby given that the Adjusted Weighted Average Sale Price for the sale held on 3/3/82 at Christchurch was 270.58 cents per kilogram (greasy basis).
As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 18.3 per cent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 3rd day of March 1982 until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.

As this price is below the Government’s supplementary minimum wool price of 320 cents per kilogram (greasy basis) the specified percentage for supplementation will be 17.6 per cent for all wool sold at auction and nationally for privately sold wool from and including the 5th day of March 1982 until midnight on the day before the next auction sale to be held.

DETERMINATION OF SUPPLEMENTARY PRICE FOR APPLES AND PEARS
IN accordance with section 27 (a) 1 of the Apple and Pear Marketing Act, the Board at its meeting held on 25 February determined that for the 1981/82 season:
(a) A supplementary price for all apples purchased by the Board from growers during that season of 14.599 cents per kilogram.
(b) A supplementary price for all pears purchased by the Board from growers during that season of 24.055 cents per kilogram.
