Maori Land Development Notice

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hamilton 1982, No. 4.
  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.
  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori Reservation for the purpose of an urupa for the common use and benefit of Ngati Waiora.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1943, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of recreation, landing reserve, scenic reserve and place of historic interest for the common use and benefit of the owners and their descendants and Tuhourangi tribe generally and that portion of the said land upon which the Spencer Mausoleum is situated for the purpose of an Urupa for the common use and benefit of the Spencer family and their descendants.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that an integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following primary school.

St Josephs School, Hohaia Street, Matamata.

The said school will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 18 February 1982. Copies of the integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Building, Wellington.
