State Forest Land Set Apart for Addition to Victoria State Forest Park

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 63B (1) of the Forests Act 1949 (as substituted by section 19 of the Forests Amendment Act 1976), I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the State forest land described in the Schedule hereto as State forest park which shall hereby form part of the Victoria State Forest Park.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—INANGAHAUA COUNTY

SECTION 53, Block XII, Mawheraiti Survey District, area 55.7900 hectares, more or less, (S.O. 12838), as shown on Head Office Plan K31/7 and deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 7th day of February 1982.

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Defence Act 1971, His Excellency, the Governor-General has approved the following appointments, promotions, extensions, transfers, resignations, and retirements of officers of the New Zealand Naval Forces.

ROYAL NEW ZEALAND NAVY

Commander E. S. Eide to be acting Captain with effect from 7 December 1981, and Captain with seniority and effect from 11 December 1981.

Commander (acting Captain) L. A. W. Urquhart relinquishes the acting rank of Captain with effect from 14 December 1981.

Commander T. S. Jones to be acting Captain with effect from 14 December 1981.

Lieutenant Commander R. B. Follas, B.SC.(ENG.) to be Commander with seniority from 1 July 1980, and effect from 5 January 1982.
