IN the matter of the Companies Act 1955, and in the matter
of MONARCH HOLDINGS LTD., a company duly incor-
pored in New Zealand, having its registered office in the
City of Napier, carrying on business as an investment
company:

NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the High Court of
New Zealand, dated the 28th day of January 1982, confirm-
ing the reduction of capital of the above-named company
from one hundred and eighty thousand dollars ($180,000.00)
to nine thousand dollar ($9,000.00), and the minute approved
by the Court showing, with respect to the capital of the com-
pany as altered, the several particulars required by the above-
mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies
on the 11th day of February 1982.

The said minute is in the words and figures following:

The capital of Monarch Holdings Ltd. is $9,000.00 divided
into 90,000 fully paid ordinary shares of ten (10) cents,
each having been reduced from $180,000.00 divided into
90,000 shares of $2 each fully paid.

Dated this 11th day of February 1982.

The Style Book is a guide which is addressed to all writers,
editors, and public servants who prepare manuscripts for
publication by the Government Printing Office. Since 1958
the Style Book has found wide acceptance, both inside and
outside the Public Service which is reflected in the number of
reprints made since that date. This new edition incorporates
the latest amendments based on experience gained since first
published. Chapters dealing with the preparation of copy,
abbreviations, and compound words have been revised; new
material has been added to the chapters dealing with common
names of animals and plants, errors in the use of English in
official writing, and terms used in printing. The introduction
of metrication has required a new chapter as well as amend-
ments throughout the book.

THE WHARE KOHANGA AND ITS LORE

In this study of Whare Kohanga (the "Nest House") is con-
tained data of baptism rites performed over infants of superior
families only, together with other cultural ceremonies applied
to infants of high birth. The information obtained was con-
tributed by members of the Ngati-Kahungunu tribe of the
North Island. The text has been retained in its original style
in the belief that these basic studies should still be readily
available without textual alteration.

Section 3—Gives recommendations for the control of
weeds in crops, pastures, and other specific
areas.

Section 4—Describes the chemicals and summarises their
uses.

Section 5—Deals with application of herbicides.
