The St Paul’s College, Ponsonby Board of Governors Notice 1982

Pursuant to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister of Education gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the St Paul’s College, Ponsonby Board of Governors Notice 1982.
    (b) This notice shall come into force on 9 August 1982.

  2. The Board of Governors of St Paul’s College, Ponsonby, shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) one member appointed by the Education Board of the district of Auckland;
    (b) one member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) five members elected by the parents of pupils attending the school;
    (d) four members appointed by the proprietor of the school.

The Torbay Cemetery Clearance Notice 1982

Pursuant to section 45 (1) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Torbay Cemetery Clearance Notice 1982.

  2. It is hereby directed that notwithstanding anything in section 41 or section 42 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, no further burials shall take place in the Torbay cemetery which was closed by the Torbay Cemetery Closing Notice* dated the 10th day of March 1972 and which is described in the Schedule to that notice.

  3. The General Trust Board of the Diocese of Auckland is hereby authorised to remove all or any of the monuments and tablets erected in that burial ground.

Notice Declaring the Taking of Rock Oysters in Kawhia, Aotea, Raglan, and Kaipara Harbours to be Lawful (Notice No. 2935, Ag. 9/2/1/17)

Pursuant to regulation 13 (2) of the Oyster Fishing Regulations 1946, notice is hereby given that the taking of rock oysters shall be lawful in the following specified places between 2 December 1982 and 30 April 1983.

(a) KAWHIA HARBOUR
All those waters of the harbour inside of a straight line drawn from the northernmost extremity of Urawitiki Point on the southern entrance to Tauratahi on the northern entrance.

(b) AOTEA HARBOUR
All those waters of the harbour inside of a straight line drawn from Kahua Point to Potahi Point.

(c) RAGLAN HARBOUR
All those waters of the harbour inside of a straight line drawn from Rangitoto Point to the northernmost end of Ngarunui beach.

(d) KAIPARA HARBOUR
All those waters of the harbour inside of a straight line drawn from South Head to Kaipara Head but excluding all Maori oyster fisheries and the following waters:
(i) All those waters inside a straight line drawn from Te Whau Point to Plunket Point;
(ii) All those waters above the railway bridge across the Kaiwaka and Wairau Rivers;
(iii) All those waters inside a straight line drawn from the southernmost extremity of Pahi Peninsula then to the northern point of Kerikeri Inlet then to Page Point;
(iv) All those waters inside a straight line drawn from Aotea Cliffs to Oyster Point.

Dissolution of the New Zealand Citrus Marketing Authority (Notice No. 2934, Ag. 4/54/9/2)

Pursuant to subclause (9) of regulation 3 of the Citrus Marketing Authority (Dissolution) Regulations 1981, I give notice that the New Zealand Citrus Marketing Authority is hereby dissolved as from the 30th day of November 1982.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a place of historical interest for the common use and benefit of the Ngati Kahu sub-tribe and the Maori people of the Wairoa District.

All those parcels of land situated in Block IX, Tauranga Survey District, and described as follows:

6348 Part Parish of Te Papa, Lot 453 and being part of the land comprised in Crown Grant dated 3 June 1886; and
2347 Part Parish of Te Papa, Lot 91N and being part of the land comprised in Partition Order of the Maori Land Court dated 2 June 1919.
