Graham Charles Woodhead, Esquire
as an officer of the Government of the Dependency for the period beginning with the 15th day of February 1983 and ending with the close of the 10th day of October 1983:
And I hereby confer on the said Graham Charles Woodhead while he holds office all the powers and authorities which may be exercised in New Zealand by a Justice of the Peace, and also the powers and authorities which may be so exercised by a Coroner:
And I hereby also appoint
Stephen Peter Johnson, Esquire
as an officer of the Government of the Dependency for the period beginning with the 1st day of March 1983 or such earlier date as Allan Richard Mayes shall leave the Dependency, and ending with the close of the 31st day of October 1983:
And I hereby confer on the said Stephen Peter Johnson while he holds office all the powers and authorities that may be exercised in New Zealand by a Postmaster:
The said Graham Charles Woodhead and the said Stephen Peter Johnson to exercise their functions at such places within the Dependency as may be directed by the officer for the time being appointed as an officer of the Government of the Dependency, in whom is vested the vested the general executive and administrative authority in preserving Her Majesty’s rights and sovereignty and the laws and regulations in force in the Dependency.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, as the Governor of the Ross Dependency, this 1st day of December 1982.

Reappointment of Referee to Small Claims Tribunal, Gisborne
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Small Claims Tribunals Act 1976, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint Gerald Pembroke Sheppard, J.P.
of Gisborne to be a referee to exercise the jurisdiction of Small Claims Tribunals for a term of 3 years on and from 10 November 1982.

Reappointment of Referee to Small Claims Tribunal, Invercargill
PURSUANT to section 7 of the Small Claims Tribunals Act 1976, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to reappoint Ian Douglas Fleming, J.P.
of Invercargill to be a referee to exercise the jurisdiction of Small Claims Tribunals for a term of 3 years on and from 10 November 1982.

Appointment of Deputy Transport Licensing Authority
PURSUANT to subsection (1) of section 100 of the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby appoints
Ian James Drabble
of Hamilton, as Deputy to the Licensing Authority for the No. 2 Transport District for the sole purpose of hearing application 82/377 in which Thomas and Merlie Amelia Sunde are seeking to transfer continuous goods-service licence No. 19219 to Sunde’s Transport (1981) Ltd. The period of this appointment will be from 10 December 1982 until such time as the Authority hands down a decision in respect of the aforementioned application.
