Commerce Act 1975
NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 73 of the Commerce Commission. By this decision, dated 23 November 1982, which relates to appeals made by the Dominion Federation of Milk Vendors Incorporated and the National Union of Milk Vendors against the decisions of the Secretary of Trade and Industry contained in price orders 241 and 242 the Commission resolved:
(a) That in respect of the individual components of the Union’s appeal.
(1) The level of costs approved be increased by $3,047 be declined.
(2) The return on capital be higher than 15 percent on historic costs be declined.
(3) All increases in margins be allocated to the daily allowance until that rate reaches 40 percent of the total vendor remuneration be declined.
(b) That the federation’s and the union’s appeal that,
(a) Milk vendors’ margins be increased be upheld to the extent they reflect the additional sum of $1,633 for vendors’ labour. The increases to be effective from the first day of the month immediately following expiration of the regulations and the Commission instructs the Secretary of Trade and Industry to give effect to this decision by issuing a price order under section 89 or a special approval under section 90 of the Act as soon as appropriate.
(c) Increases in the allowances be backdated to 1 August 1981 be declined.

PURSUANT to section 330 and 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice Hastings 1982, No. 4.

The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked being replaced, to the extent necessary, by Maori Land Development Notice Hastings 1982, No. 4.

The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from the provisions of Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.
