Height Limitation Notice Affecting Land at Farrand Road, Kumeu

TAKE notice that pursuant to section 187 of the Public Works
Act 1981, the Waitemata Electric Power Board hereby pro-
hibits the growing of any tree beyond a height of 4 metres
above ground level on that portion of the lands described
in the Schedule which is shown marked “A” on a plan
No. ESA 1/4721, which plan is deposited at the Board’s Head
Office at 44 Taharoto Road, Takapuna.

This prohibition is required in order to prevent any trees
(whether already growing or which may henceforth be planted)
on that portion of the said land shown marked “A” on the
said plan from interfering with or endangering any overhead
electric line constructed or to be constructed over and along
the said portion marked “A”, and thereby to ensure the safety
of any such electric line and immunity from danger.

The said plan No. ESA 1/4721 shall be available for public
inspection on any working day between the hours of 8.30 a.m.
and 4 p.m.

Objection Rights—Within 20 working days after the date
of publication of this notice in the Gazette you may appeal
against the prohibition to the planning tribunal in the manner
prescribed by or under the Town and Country Planning Act
1977.

Inquiries in respect of this notice may be made to the
Board’s Design Engineer, Mr J. Clark, at the Board’s Head
Office premises above described.

SCHEDULE

FIRST, 12.8538 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1 on Deposited
Plan 57233 and being part Taupaki Block and being all of the
land in certificate of title 11C/488 (North Auckland Registry),
subject to mortgage No. B093302.1.

District Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows

CORNWALL PARK ENDOWMENT AND RECREATION
LAND BILL (PRIVATE)
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR LEAVE TO INTRODUCE A
PRIVATE BILL

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland Regional Authority,
a body corporate constituted under the Auckland Regional
Authority Act 1963, intends to apply for leave to introduce
the above-mentioned Bill during the present session of
Parliament. The objects of the Bill are as follows—

(a) The Trusts governing the use and operation of Cornwall
Park and the endowments of the said park are to be
varied to provide that area A on S.O. Plan 55018 is
to cease to be endowment land and to be parkland
while areas B and C on S.O. Plan 55019
are to become subject to the endowment provisions
of the said trusts provided that in exercising those
powers, the Cornwall Park Trust Board is to preserve
the present character of areas B and C which are to
continue to be used in essentially the same manner
and for essentially the same purposes as at 1 January
1980.

(b) The provisions for exemption from rating liability
contained in section 2 of the Cornwall Park Trustees
Rating Exemption Act 1938 are to apply from 1 April
1982 to area A.

Copies of the Bill may be inspected at, and communications
or notices to the promoter may be sent to the office of the
Secretary, Auckland Regional Authority, Third Floor,
Regional House, 121 Hobson Street, Auckland.
