Appointment of Member and Chairman of the Prisons Parole Board

His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint pursuant to section 31 of the Criminal Justice Act 1954

The Honourable Mr Justice Ongley,

High Court Judge of Wellington, to be a member and Chairman of the Prisons Parole Board for a term of 3 years on and from 25 February 1983.

Appointment of Member of Broadcasting Tribunal

PURSUANT to section 61 (2) of the Broadcasting Act 1976, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Broadcasting, has been pleased to appoint Ann Elizabeth Wilson of Wellington, solicitor, to be a member of the Broadcasting Tribunal for a term of 3 years, commencing on the 1st day of November 1982.

Land Acquired for the Victoria University of Wellington in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired subject to Order in Council No. 1385 for the Victoria University of Wellington and shall vest in the Crown on the 4th day of November 1982.

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired, subject to the fencing agreements contained in transfers 131666 and A374417 and to the water easement created by Grant 173462 (R112/159), for a State primary school and shall vest in the Crown on the 4th day of November 1982.
