Reservation of Land

Pursuant to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director of Land Administration of the Department of Lands and Survey, hereby sets apart the land described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scientific purposes.

Canterbury Land District—Amuri County—Culverden Scientific Reserve

10.3750 hectares, more or less, being Section 85, Culverden Settlement (formerly part Section 9, Culverden Settlement), situated in Blocks VI and VII, Culverden Survey District. Part C. L. 11K/652. S.O. Plan 15530.

Classification of Reserve and Declaration That the Reserve be Part of the Volkners Island Recreation Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for recreation purposes and further declares the said reserve to form part of the Volkners Island Recreation Reserve to be administered as a reserve for recreation purposes by the Opotiki County Council.

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Waiaua Scenic Reserve.

Change of the Classification of Part of a Reserve
