Land Acquired as State Forest Land—Nelson Conservancy

NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the Schedule hereto has been acquired under the Forests Act 1949 as State forest land.

Notice Declaring Barley Grass (Hordeum murinum) a Class B Noxious Plant (No. 2897, Ag. 12/10/10)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares barley grass (Hordeum murinum) to be a class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of Waimarino District Noxious Plants Authority.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Notice Declaring Wild Oat (Avena fatua and Avena persica) a Class B Noxious Plant (No. 2898, Ag. 12/10/11)

  1. Pursuant to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares wild oat (Avena fatua and Avena persica) to be a class B noxious plant in that part of New Zealand lying within the boundaries of the Southland Noxious Plants Regional Co-ordinating Committee.

  2. This notice shall come into effect on the day after the notification in the Gazette.

Determination of the Comptroller of Customs, Section 21, Sales Tax Act 1974

I, Patrick John McKone, hereby give notice that, for the purposes of section 21 of the Sales Tax Act 1974, I have determined that the sale value of the goods enumerated below shall be in accordance with section 21 (2) (d) of the Sales Tax Act 1974.

Nothing contained in this notice shall limit the application of any other section of Part IV of the Sales Tax Act 1974.

Environmental Impact Report Notified—Proposed Mimiwhangata Marine Park, Northland

THE Commission for the Environment has received an Environmental Impact Report prepared for the Hauraki Gulf Maritime Park Board and the Mimiwhangata Farm Park Charitable Trust on a proposal to establish a marine park at Mimiwhangata.

In accordance with the provisions of the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Procedures, representation in writing on the environmental aspects of the proposal and on the report are invited. Submissions should be sent to the Commission for the Environment before 5 p.m., Monday, 1 November 1982. Written submissions may be reproduced in dark legible script on A4 sized paper.

Copies of the report may be obtained from the Department of Lands and Survey, P.O. Box 5249, Auckland; the Department of Lands and Survey, P.O. Box 744, Whangarei, or from the Commission for the Environment, at the address below.

The report may be read at public libraries in Kamo, Kawakawa, Kerikeri, and Whangarei as well as at public libraries of the four main centres and the seven university institutions. Inspection copies are also available at the Bay of Islands County Council offices, Main North Highway, Kawakawa; Whangarei County Council offices, Springs Flat, Kamo; Whangarei City Corporation offices, Forum North, Calfier Avenue, Whangarei; Department of Lands and Survey offices, RBFC Building, Hunt Street, Whangarei; Department of Lands and Survey offices, State Insurance Building, Wakefield Street, Auckland; Bay of Islands Historic and Maritime Park Board offices, Russell; and the Commission for the Environment Library.
