SITUATED within Clutha County at Clinton:

ALL that area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the northern side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) at the intersection of the prolongation of the western side of Side Street; thence due north by a right line to a point due west of the northern end of North Street; thence due east by a right line to the eastern side of North Street; thence southerly, generally, along the eastern side of North Street to a point due west of the northern end of Hawthorne Street; thence due east by a right line to the eastern side of Hawthorne Street; thence southerly, generally, along the eastern side of Hawthorne Street to the northern side of the No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff); thence easterly, generally, along the northern side of the said State Highway to a point 200 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Hawthorne Street; thence by a right line across the said State Highway at right angles from its northern side to its southern side; thence easterly, generally, along the southern side of the said State Highway to a point due north of the eastern end of Low Street; thence due south by a right line to the southern side of Low Street; thence westerly, generally, along the southern side of Low Street to the eastern side of Hillfoot Road; thence southerly, generally, along the eastern side of Hillfoot Road to its intersection with the South Island Main Trunk Railway; thence westerly, generally, by a right line to the western side of High Street at its intersection with the southern side of George Street; thence westerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-eastern side of Gorge Road 160 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along Gorge Road from Side Street; thence by a right line across Gorge Road at right angles from its south-eastern side to its north-western side; thence north-westerly, generally, by a right line to the western end of Merrie Creek Road; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to the commencing point.

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice:

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Bay of Islands County) Notice No. 1, 1982.

The roads specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

SITUATED within Bay of Islands County at Okiato Point.

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 2, 1982

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 2, 1982.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1979, dated the 8th day of June 1979†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Lake County adjacent to Queenstown Borough:

Richards Park Lane.

Park Place.

Robins Road.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Lake County, adjacent to Queenstown Borough:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim-Invercargill, via Nelson and Greymouth): From the Queenstown Borough boundary to a point 1440 metres measured easterly, generally along the said State Highway from the Queenstown Borough boundary.

THIS notice may be cited as the Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1982.

The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.

The Traffic (Otamatea County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 10th day of January 1971†, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is hereby revoked.


FIRST SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Otamatea County at Maungaturoto:

No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville): from a point 160 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Whaka Road to a point 200 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Bickerstaffe Road.

Bickerstaffe Road: from the No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville) to a point 640 metres measured easterly and southerly, generally, along Bickerstaffe Road from the said State Highway.

Doctors Hill Road: from the No. 12 State Highway (Ohaeawai-Maungaturoto via Dargaville) to a point 500 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from the said State Highway.
