NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was, on the 28th day of July 1982, presented to the said Court by the DISTRICT COMMISSIONER OF INLAND REVENUE; and the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch on the 15th day of September 1982, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of the hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO AMEND THE SCHEDULE TO THE CLEAN AIR ZONE (CHRISTCHURCH) ORDER 1977

NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City Council has made an application to the Minister of Health, pursuant to section 12 of the Clean Air Act 1972, to amend the Schedule to the Clean Air Zone (Christchurch) Order 1977, by including the following appliances and approved fuels:

Appliance

  1. ‘Siesta Wood Fire’ manufactured by A. and T. Burt Ltd., Christchurch.

  2. ‘Hot Box Heater’ manufactured by A a b a a s B r o s., Christchurch.

Approved Fuel

Wood with a moisture content not exceeding 25 percent (on wet weight). This being wood which has been cut and air dried usually for a period of not less than 3 months.

A copy of the application may be inspected at the Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, between the hours of 8.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m., Monday to Friday, during a period of 6 weeks from the date of the last publication of this notice.

Within the said period any person who will be affected by the amendment may—by notice in writing to the Minister of Health and supplying a copy of the Notice to the local authority—object to the recommendation.

OTOROHANGA DISTRICT COUNCIL

ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES

OTOROHANGA COMMUNITY AND KIO KIO RIDING

Special Order

IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 58 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Otorohanga District Council hereby resolves by way of special order to alter the boundaries of the Otorohanga Riding (Community) and Kio Kio Riding as follows:

  1. That the boundaries of the Otorohanga Riding (Community) and Kio Kio Riding as respectively described in New Zealand Gazette, 1977, page 1773, are hereby revoked.

  2. That in lieu thereof the said ridings shall be defined as respectively described in the Schedule hereto.

  3. That the date on which the boundaries of the said ridings are hereby altered shall be 1 May 1982.

  4. That for accounting, rating and other financial purposes, the alteration of the boundaries of the said ridings shall be deemed to have taken place at the commencement of the financial year in which the provisions of this special order come into force.

And that public notice be given of the purport of this resolution together with notice that the resolution will be submitted for confirmation at an ordinary meeting of the council to be held on Tuesday, 13 April 1982, at the Council Chambers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

And that a copy of the proposed special order together with a plan of the Otorohanga Community showing the proposed alteration of boundaries be deposited at the office of the Council, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga, and be open for public inspection during office hours until immediately preceding the date of confirmation.

SCHEDULE

OTOROHANGA RIDING (COMMUNITY)

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Otorohanga District, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the right bank of the Waipa River with the south-eastern boundary of part Otorohanga E3C Block, situated in Block IV, Orahiri Survey District, and proceeding generally north-easterly along the last mentioned boundary, the north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. 29834, and part Otorohanga E4B Block, and the western side of Kakamutu Road to a point in line with northern boundary of Lot 8, D.P. 17789; thence generally easterly to and along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Lots 9 and 10, D.P. 17789 to the north-eastern corner of the said Lot 10; thence northerly along the western boundaries of Lot 10, D.P. S.7190 and Lots 3, 2 and 1, D.P. 17789 to the north-western corner of the said Lot 1; thence easterly along the southern boundary of Otorohanga N2B2 Block to the western side of the North Island main trunk railway; thence southerly along that side to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 43, D.P. S.7771; thence generally south-easterly to and along that boundary and the north-eastern boundary of Lot 16, D.P. S.7771; a right line across Harpers Avenue to and along the north-western, north-eastern and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 35, D.P. S.7771 and the northern boundary of Lot 36, D.P. S.7771 and a right line to the western corner of part Lot 3, D.P. 9357, situated in Block I, Mangaorongo Survey District, as comprised in certificate of title 840/152; thence north-easterly along the south-eastern boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 29570 to the southern corner of part Lot 4, D.P. S.9170; thence generally north-westerly along the western boundaries of the last mentioned part Lot 4, the western boundary of part Lot 2 as shown on S.O. 48749, the southern and north-western boundaries of part Lot 4, S.O. 37686 aforesaid and the north-western boundary of part Lot 4, D.P. 29570 aforesaid to the western corner of Lot 2, D.P. S.9170; thence generally north-easterly along the generally north-western boundaries of the said Lot 2 to an angle formed by the right lines bearing 81°15’92.54 metres and 106°28’20.08: thence northerly along a right line to the southern corner of Lot 2, D.P. S.16726; thence generally easterly along the south-eastern boundaries of the said Lot 2 to the western side of Blucks Road and the last boundary produced to the eastern side of Blucks Road; thence southerly down that eastern side to and along the north-eastern side of State Highway 3 to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. S.18300; thence southerly to and along that boundary to the southern corner of the said Lot 1; thence generally north-westerly along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 1; the south-eastern, south-western and north-western boundaries of Lots 3, 2 and 1, D.P. S.3690 and the western and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S.3690 to the southern side of State Highway 3; thence generally westerly along that southern side to the north-eastern boundary of Lot 11, D.P. S.3233; thence south-easterly along that boundary and the eastern boundary of the said Lot 11 to its south-eastern corner; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, and 4, D.P. S.3233, along a right line to and along the south-eastern boundaries of Lots 3, 2 and 1, D.P. S.3233 and Lots 21, 20,
