hereby give notice that the Wairarapa Licensing Committee
on 9 December 1981, made an order authorising variations
of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as
the Royal Tavern, Featherston.
To the intent that on days other than those on which
licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and
closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday—Opening at
9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in
the evening.
(b) On any Thursday—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning
and closing at 2 o’clock in the afternoon. Opening at
4 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 10 o’clock
in the evening.
(c) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 9 o’clock in
the morning and closing at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Opening at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at
10 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the
morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(e) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11.30 in the morn-
ing and closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of
New Year’s Day.

Chartered Club—Northland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962,
as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amend-
ment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for
Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing
Committee on 15 December 1981, made an order authorising
variations of the usual hours of trading for the Chartered
Club known as the Paihia Ex-Servicemen’s Association
(Incorporated).
To the intent that on days other than those on which
Chartered Clubs are required to be closed for the sale of
liquor to its members the hours for the opening and closing
of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday,
Friday and Saturday, (Between 29 February and
19 December)—Opening at 12 noon and closing at
10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
(Between 20 December and 31 December and between
1 January and 28 February)—Opening at 12 noon
and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Friday and Saturday (Between 20 December
and 31 December and between 1 January and 28
February)—Opening at 12 noon and closing at
11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 12 noon and
closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of the New
Year’s Day.

o’clock in the evening.

noon and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 12 noon and
closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of the New
Year’s Day.

Trust Premises—Invercargill Licensing Trust
PURSUANT to section 35B of the Invercargill Licensing Trust
Act 1950, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice,
hereby give notice that the Invercargill Licensing Trust on
17 December 1981, resolved to vary the usual hours for the
opening and closing for the sale of liquor for its premises
known as Friars Liquor Barrel and situated at North Road,
Invercargill.
To the intent that on days other than those on which the
premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor
the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises
shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday—
Opening at 9.30 a.m. and closing at 6 p.m., with the
premises being closed for a period from 1 p.m. to 1.30
p.m.
(b) On any Thursday—Opening at 9.30 a.m. and closing
at 8.30 p.m., with the premises being closed for the
period from 1 p.m. to 1.30 p.m.
(c) On any Saturday—Opening at 9.30 a.m. and closing
at 12.30 p.m.
