Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, the Minister of Works and Development hereby proclaims that the road described in the Schedule hereto is hereby closed, and shall when so closed vest in Athol Bolland Powell, of Omaio, farmer, subject to mortgage 109261, Gisborne Land Registry.

Declaring Road in Block I, Tainui Survey District, Clifton County, to be a Government Road to be Stopped, and to be Crown Land

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works and Development hereby:
(a) Declares the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government Road, and
(b) Stops the said road,
and further, pursuant to section 35 of the said Act, declares that the said road, when stopped, shall be dealt with as Crown land subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 14th day of January 1982.
