NOTICE is hereby given that applications for exclusion from determined rates of duty by the Minister of Customs on goods as follows have been declined:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of these applications should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 3 September 1981. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff Item and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:

(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

Notice by Examiner of Commercial Practices of Consent to a Merger and Takeover Proposal

PURSUANT to section 69 of the Commerce Act 1975, the Examiner of Commercial Practices hereby gives notice of the following merger and takeover proposal to which he has consented.
