PURSUANT to section 45 of the Government Railways Act 1949 and section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares that a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for railway purposes, from and after the 27th day of July 1981.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work (Railway Purposes) at Mangaweka and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 35 of the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948, as from the 27th day of July 1981.

Makara Walkway

PURSUANT to the New Zealand Walkways Act 1975, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto, shall be a Walkway and shall hereafter be known as the Makara Walkway.

COMMENCING at a point on the western boundary of the Esplanade Reserve defined on D.P. 8890, adjoining Section 1, Block II, Port Nicholson Survey District; thence proceeding generally westerly and southerly over the said Section 1, and over Sections 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12 Opau Block situated in Block II, Port Nicholson Survey District, to Opau Bay; thence generally northerly and easterly along the sea coast to the point of commencement as the same is more particularly delineated on Survey Office Plan 32616.

PURSUANT to section 5 (5) of the Marine Mammals Protection Act 1978, the Minister of Fisheries hereby advises that the Mount Maunganui Marineland has applies for a permit to export:

Two (2) Californian sea lions (Zalophus californianus californianus).

Three (3) New Zealand fur seals (Arctocephalus forsteri)

to the Pet Porpoise Pool, Coff’s Harbour, New South Wales, Australia.

The Minister of Fisheries hereby calls for any submissions regarding this application to be made in writing within 28 days of publication of this notice.

Fixing of Trigger Price for Wool (No. 2641, Ag. 4/53/2/7)

PURSUANT to section 41 of the Wool Industry Act 1977, notice is hereby given that:

(a) The trigger price is fixed at 400 cents per kilogram (greasy) in respect of all categories of wool (other than dag wool, slipe wool, fellmongered wool, and wool on the skin) produced in New Zealand and that trigger price shall apply during the remainder of the 1981/82 wool selling season and shall continue in force until such time as a new trigger price is fixed; and

(b) This notice is to take effect from and inclusive of the 1st day of August 1981.

Approval of Motorcycle Riding School

PURSUANT to regulation 19b (5) of the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby approves the motorcycle riding school listed in the Schedule hereto to the effect that it may issue certificates of riding instruction to enable a person to obtain a full licence to drive a motorcycle in accordance with regulation 19b of the said regulations:

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block XIV, Motueka Survey District, Waima County

PURSUANT to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Waima County Council pursuant to the said Section 323 and on the publication of this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown Land subject to the Land Act 1948.
