Meat Industry Authority (Notice No. 26, M.I.A. 3/3/4)

Declaring the Abolition of Inspected Meat Areas and Abattoir Districts

PURSUANT to section 22A (1) of the Meat Act 1964 (as inserted by section 19 of the Meat Amendment Act 1976), all Inspected Meat Areas and Abattoir Districts are abolished on the 1st day of July 1981, with the exception of Christchurch Abattoir District and Kokiri Abattoir District pending the hearing of applications for the retention of those Districts to a date not later than the 1st day of July 1986.

All New Zealand Gazette notices pertaining to Inspected Meat Areas and Abattoir Districts are hereby revoked, except those pertaining to Christchurch Abattoir District and Kokiri Abattoir District.

Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1975—Election of a Tobacco Growers’ Representative for Appointment as a Member of the Tobacco Board

PURSUANT to regulation 8 (5) of the Tobacco Board Election Regulations 1975, I hereby declare

Jack Lawson Inglis

to be elected and deemed nominated by the New Zealand Tobacco Growers’ Federation Incorporated, for appointment by the Minister of Trade and Industry, as a growers’ representative to the Tobacco Board, for the purpose of section 4 (1) (d) of the Tobacco Growing Industry Act 1974.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that the following school will enter into the State education system in accordance with the provisions of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, with effect from 6 July 1981.

A copy of the integration agreement is available for inspection at the Department of Education, Head Office, Government Buildings, Wellington, and Regional Offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

PURSUANT to regulation 3 (1) of the Education (Committee of Management) Regulations 1981 and a resolution of the Board, the South Auckland Education Board hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Te Kauwhata College Committee of Management Notice 1981.
    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1981.

  2. The Committee of Management shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Education Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers on the staff of the school;
    (c) Six members elected by the parents of students attending the school;
    (d) At least one but no more than 3 members co-opted by the Committee of Management itself.

    (2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of August 1981.

  2. The Committee of Management of Waverley High School shall be constituted as follows:
    (a) One member appointed by the Wanganui Education Board;
    (b) One member elected by the teachers of the school;
    (c) Seven members elected by the parents of students attending the school.

Notice Declaring Giant Buttercup (Ranunculus Acris) a Class B Noxious Plant (Notice No. 2632, Ag. 12/10/10)

PURSUANT to section 19 of the Noxious Plants Act 1978, the Noxious Plants Council hereby declares Giant Buttercup (Ranunculus Acris) a Class B noxious plant in the following District Noxious Plants Authority areas:

Taranaki County and New Plymouth City District Noxious Plants Authority;
Stratford District Noxious Plants Authority;
Egmont District Noxious Plants Authority;
Eltham District Noxious Plants Authority;
Hawera District Noxious Plants Authority;
Patea Districts Noxious Plants Authority.

This notice shall come into effect on the day after the date of notification in the Gazette.

Confiscation of Motor Vehicle—Criminal Justice Amendment Act (No. 2) 1976

PURSUANT to the Criminal Justice Act 1954, section 44b motor vehicle registration No. DV 8843 Ford Cortina motor car, engine and chassis No. 113E468029, owned by Mr Joe Tila Folasa, 225 Adelaide Road, Newtown, Wellington, was confiscated by Judge H. Gilbert in the District Court at Wellington, on the 3rd day of June 1981, in accordance with the above Act.
