Revoking State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Board Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked and that the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that section of No. 8 State highway in Vincent County from Dairy Creek via Sunderland Street in the township of Clyde to Muttontown Gully, as declared in the notice declaring public highways to be State highways published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, No. 20, page 384.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NO. 8 STATE HIGHWAY (TIMARU–MILTON)
ALL that section of public highway from Dairy Creek via the Clyde Bypass to Muttontown Gully.

Revoking State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Board Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked and that the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that section of No. 1 State highway, between its intersection with No. 58 State highway and its intersection with The Ramp, Porirua City, as declared in the varying notice published in the Gazette, 14 July 1966, No. 42, page 1106.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NO. 1 STATE HIGHWAY (AWANUI–BLUFF)
ALL that section of four-lane, divided public highway from its intersection with No. 58 State highway at R.P. 969/0.00 to its intersection with The Ramp at R.P. 969/4.02 in Porirua City.

Declaring Public Highway to be State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the public highway described in the Schedule hereto is declared to be State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act, and that the Second Schedule of the varying notice published in the Gazette, 14 July 1966, No. 42, page 1106, is amended by adding to it the paragraph described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
NO. 1 STATE HIGHWAY (AWANUI–BLUFF)
ALL those pieces of land, situated in Block V, Purua Survey District, being part Allotment 139, Whangarei Parish and part
Allotment 22, Whangarei Parish, as marked “A” and “B” respectively on plan S.O. 51427, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland.

PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked, and that the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that section of No. 1 State highway commencing at a point 930 metres south of the intersection of the Waiau-Leader Road with No. 1 State highway proceeding generally southwards through the township of Parnassus crossing the Waiau River and the main trunk railway and terminating 1150 metres north of the intersection of Waiau East Road with No. 1 State highway at Spotswood, as declared in the varying notice published in the Gazette, 12 September 1974, No. 89, page 1930.
SECOND SCHEDULE
NO. 1 STATE HIGHWAY (AWANUI–BLUFF)
ALL that section of public highway commencing at a point 930 metres south of the intersection of the Waiau-Leader Road with No. 1 State highway proceeding generally southwards crossing the main trunk railway via the Parnassus Overbridge, bypassing Parnassus township, crossing the Waiau River and terminating 1150 metres north of the intersection of Waiau East Road with State highway No. 1 at Spotswood.

ALL that section of No. 2 State highway in Hastings as described in Part II of the notice declaring public highways to be State highways published in the Gazette, 24 March 1960, No. 20, page 384.
SECOND SCHEDULE
HASTINGS—NO. 2 STATE HIGHWAY
FROM the north-eastern boundary of Hastings City along Karamu Road to its intersection with Queen Street, thence via Karamu Road and Eastbourne Street to its intersection with Railway Road for southbound traffic only, and via Queen Street and Railway Road to its intersection with Eastbourne Street for northbound traffic only, and proceeding from the intersection of Railway Road and Eastbourne Street along Railway Road to the south-western boundary of the city at Murdoch Road.
