Authorising Silverpeaks County Council to Reclaim Land from Otago Harbour

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington this 22nd day of June 1981
Present:
His Excellency the Governor-General in Council
Pursuant to section 175 (2) of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, considering that the reclamation hereby authorised:
(a) Will not unduly interfere with or restrict any public rights of navigation; and
(b) Is for the benefit of the public;
hereby authorises the Silverpeaks County Council to reclaim from the Otago Harbour an area of 650 square metres, being the area marked B on the plan marked MD 16070, deposited at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Transport at Christchurch and at the Head Office of the Ministry of Transport at Wellington.

Amending a Proclamation Declaring Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Hutt County

A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section 330A of the Public Works Act 1928, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby amend the Proclamation declaring land taken for soil conservation and river control purposes in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Hutt County, dated 26 September 1977 and published in Gazette, 3 November 1977, No. 112, at page 2855, by omitting the heading thereto and substituting the following heading, “Land Taken for Soil Conservation and River Control Purposes in Block IV, Belmont Survey District, Hutt County” and by omitting the Schedule thereto, and substituting the following Schedule.

Warrant Appointing a Member of the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board

Pursuant to section 17 of the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby appoint Annette Joan Tyerman of Gisborne, chemist, to be a representative of the constituent district of the City of Gisborne on the Poverty Bay Electric Power Board.
