NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was, on the 28th day of May 1981, presented to the said Court by the COMMISSIONER OF INLAND REVENUE at Wellington; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Palmerston North, on the 1st day of July 1981, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

AUCKLAND CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Auckland City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928 to take the fee simple estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto for a certain public work namely road widening.

The general purpose for which the land to be taken is to be used is for a realignment of intersection of Gillies Avenue and King George Avenue, Epsom.

A plan showing the land required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Auckland City Council, being numbered S.O. 55514 and being at the offices of the city planner on the Eighth Floor of the Civic Administration Building, Greys Avenue, Auckland and is there open for inspection.

Every person directly affected is called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the said land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send the written objection within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, 175 The Terrace, Wellington.

If any objection is made in accordance with section 22 Public Works Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

SCHEDULE

NINE square metres, more or less, being the land marked A on the above-mentioned plan being part of 961 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, Deposited Plan 3157 and being the land comprised and described in certificates of title 8A/806, 15D/1071, 17B/450, 12D/485 and 7C/1088 (North Auckland Registry).

All of the properties being affected by this notice being generally all on the corner of Gillies Avenue and King George Avenue, Epsom.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

SPECIAL ORDER

The Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 45, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf, doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of four million four hundred and forty four thousand dollars ($4,444,000), to be known as Transport Loan No. 12, 1981, $4,444,000 for the purposes of and incidental to constructing the Swanson Transport Depot and reimbursing general account amounts already expended for this purpose.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority, held on 21 April 1981 and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held on 18 May 1981, having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on 25th April 1981 and 9th May 1981.

The common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereunto affixed in the presence of the Chairman and Secretary:

Notice is hereby given that the partnership between Messrs C. H. Richards and J. B. Elley in respect of D.B. Greymouth Hotel was dissolved by mutual agreement on 1st instant and the business of D.B. Greymouth Hotel will in future be conducted by Mr and Mrs J. B. Elley.
