AUDITORS' REPORT

The balance sheet and profit and loss account of the Southland Savings Bank for the year ended 31 March 1980, together with the notes thereto, are in agreement with the books which in our opinion have been properly kept.

In our opinion, according to the best of our information and the explanation given to us, the following balance sheet, profit and loss account and the notes thereto present fairly the financial position of the Southland Savings Bank as at 31 March 1980, in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles applied on a basis consistent with that of the preceding year.
