Electric Lines Licence—Licensing the New Zealand Railways to Erect and Use Electric Lines
Pursuant to the Electricity Act 1968, the Minister of Energy hereby licenses the New Zealand Railways subject to the following conditions, to lay, construct, put up, place and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.
CONDITIONS

This licence is subject to compliance with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1976, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and all regulations made in amendment of or in substitution for any of those regulations.

The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraph (d) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1976, and shall be an alternating current system.

This licence shall, unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 2002.
SCHEDULE
Lines for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply described as follows:
An underground cable crossing S.H. 88 between railway land on each side of the road at a point approximately 410 metres south-west of the intersection of S.H. 88 and Wickliffe Terrace.
All being situated in Sawyers Bay Survey District the said line being more particularly shown on the plan marked NZE 1014, deposited in the office of the Electricity Division, Ministry of Energy, at Wellington.

The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1981
Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 1, 1981.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are hereby declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a limited speed zone pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*.
The Traffic (Waimairi County) Notice No. 2, 1979 dated the 12th day of February 1979† and issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is hereby revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
Situated within Waimairi County:
All roads except No. 1 State highway (Awanui–Bluff) and Blenheim Road within the area adjacent to Christchurch City, Riccarton Borough, and Paparua County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the northern side of Blenheim Road with the western boundary of Waimairi County and proceeding northerly, westerly, north-westerly, and north-easterly, generally, along the boundary of Waimairi County to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said boundary from No. 73 State highway (Christchurch–Kumara); thence south-easterly, generally, by a right line at right angles to the said boundary to the south-eastern side of Russley Road; thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Dinton Street and Bentley Street to a point 120 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Ryans Road; thence north-easterly, generally, by a right line to a point on the south-western side of Avon-head Road 360 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along that roadside from Hawthornden Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Avonhead Road from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside to the north-western side of Roydvale Avenue; thence north-easterly, generally, along that roadside to the south-western side of Memorial Avenue; thence south-easterly, generally, along that roadside across Roydvale Avenue and Frith Place to a point 20 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said roadside from Grahams Road; thence north-easterly, generally, across Memorial Avenue from its south-western side to its north-eastern side; thence north-westerly, generally, along that roadside across Kendall Avenue and Roydvale Avenue to the north-western side of Roydvale Avenue; thence northerly, generally, by a right line to a point on the southern side of
