• 1. Net of payments amounting to $69,489,093 made in terms of section 157A of the Income Tax Act 1976, and payments to the Accident Compensation Corporation amounting to $13,038,787 for advances of self-employed levy made in terms of section 82 of the Accident Compensation Act 1972. Levies of an as yet undetermined amount have been received and applied against those advances.

2. Tax collected by the N.Z. Post Office during the year but not paid into the Public Account by 31 March 1981 amounted to $43,093,422 compared to $27,999,167 at 31 March 1980.
