NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON LOAN PROPOSAL—HUTT COUNTY COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Wainuiomata Community taken on Tuesday, 7 April 1981, on the proposal of the Hutt County Council to borrow the sum of $225,000 for the purpose of making extensions and improvements to the Wainuiomata Community Centre:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 703.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1,975.

The number of informal votes was 14.

I, therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
