The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Amendment Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification

DZ 4503/A3 Draft amendment No. 3 to NZS 4503:1974 Code of practice for the distribution, installation, and maintenance of hand operated fire fighting equipment for use in buildings.

This proposed amendment modifies the installation and performance requirements of fire hose reels.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Center, 15-23 Sturdee Street, Wellington 1.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 25 June 1981.
