EXPLANATORY NOTES—

Sizes have been listed in order from smallest to largest in their respective series.
Bias and radial tyres are shown together under their respective rim diameters.
The + shows where a letter indicating the “speed rating” of a tyre may appear in the size marking, e.g. 155+R13 incorporates 155SR13, 155HR13, and 155VR13. Most common speed rating letters are L, S, H, and V; but can include F, M, N, P, Q, R, T, and U (the effect of the symbol + is to disregard speed ratings).
The letter “C” can also appear after the rim diameter and should be disregarded, e.g. 185R14C 500–16C.
Group markings occur and vary according to country of origin. If a size incorporated in a group marking appears in the list of sizes in TDL 385 the tyre or tube with group marking is deemed to be included in TDL 385, e.g. 575/600/640–15 includes the sizes 575–15, 600–15, and 640–15.
Any mud and snow tyres in the sizes listed may be entered at the concessionary rate of duty EXCEPT where indicated by the symbol* | 10 | Free | .. | 204037K | 1/1/81 | 31/3/83 |
