DETAILED DESCRIPTION

ALL that section of public highway from the intersection of State Highway No. 8 and Polson’s Road, via the Waitahuna River Bridge constructed in 1978, to the intersection of Fawcett Street and State Highway No. 8.

PURSUANT to section 332 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori Land Board hereby gives notice as follows:

N O T I C E

  1. This notice may be cited as Maori Land Development Notice, Whangarei 1981, No. 1.

  2. The notice referred to in the First Schedule hereto is hereby revoked by omitting all reference to the land described in the Second Schedule hereto.

  3. The land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby released from Part XXIV of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 12 December 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Strand Tavern, Auckland.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any Friday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(d) On any Saturday—Opening at 8 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee, on 12 December 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Titirangi Returned Services Association (Incorporated).

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, John Fraser Robertson, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Southland Licensing Committee, on 5 December 1980, made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the chartered club known as the Southland Commercial Travellers and Warehousemens Association (Incorporated), Invercargill.

To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Friday, Saturday, and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.
