A PROCLAMATION
WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued to the 23rd day of April 1981: And whereas for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit to prorogue it further:
Now, therefore, pursuant to the New Zealand Constitution Act 1852, I, The Honourable Sir David Stuart Beattie, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby further prorogue the General Assembly until Monday, the 15th day of June 1981.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 8th day of April 1981.
