BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

Notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands County Council intends under the provisions of the Local Government Amendment Act (No. 3) 1977, to execute a certain work namely a road, and for the purpose of such work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928.

And notice is further given that a plan showing the said land is deposited at the office of the Council situated at Main Highway, Kawakawa, and may there be inspected without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the said work or by the taking of the said land and who have an objection thereto, not being an objection as to the amount or payment of compensation, must state their objections in writing and send the same to the Secretary, Town and Country Planning Appeal Board, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, so as to reach him not later than 12 May, being forty days after the publication of this notice. If any objection is received a public hearing of the same will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of such hearing.

COOK COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

Notice is hereby given that the Cook County Council, acting under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, proposes to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of a road. The said land, the owners of which are deceased without apparent successors-in-title, is situated at the south-eastern end of Coop’s Road which joins State Highway 2 at Muriwai approximately 22 kilometres south-west of Gisborne. The Council is taking the current action as the best means of providing access for the proper development and use of adjoining land, along a strip of land formerly intended as road but never dedicated as such.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Council at 389 Gladstone Road, Gisborne, and is there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons directly affected by the taking of such land must set forth in writing any objection they may wish to make to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and send the same within 40 days after the first publication of this notice to the Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Department of Justice, Private Bag, Wellington, and a copy to the Council.

If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

WAIPA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Public notice is hereby given that the Waipa County Council proposes to execute a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a public road for which purpose the land described in the Schedule hereto requires to be taken by the Council under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928.

A plan of the land required to be taken as aforesaid lies open to public inspection at the office of the Council in Bank Street, Te Awamutu.

Every person directly affected is hereby called upon to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation and to send such written objection to the Planning Tribunal, Wellington, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice. A public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.
