Tariff Notice No. 1981/24—Application for Variation of Exclusion from Approval

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for a variation of exclusion of goods as follows from a current approval of the Minister of Customs and for admission of such goods at the rates of duty prescribed under the substantive Tariff item therefor:

Any person wishing to lodge an objection to the granting of this application should do so in writing to the appropriate office as indicated by the identification reference on or before 9 April 1981. Submissions should include a reference to the identification reference, application number, Tariff item, and description of goods concerned and be supported by information as to:
(a) The range of equivalent goods manufactured locally;
(b) The proportion of New Zealand and imported material used in manufacture;
(c) Present and potential output; and
(d) Details of factory cost in terms of materials, labour, overhead, etc.

NOTICE is hereby given that an application has been made for the withdrawal of the following approval of the Minister of Customs and for the future admission of the goods at substantive rates of duty:
