junction of the South Branch

the junction of Palmer Stream

Shooting hours: 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. or any period within
these hours except that during the period 29 June 1981 to
25 October 1981 inclusive and 6 February 1982 to 21 March
1982 inclusive, Canada goose may be hunted or killed 24
hours per day.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Special Conditions

  1. No hut, mudhole, stand, hide, shelter, maimai, boat,
    louvre, or cylinder or other contrivance shall be used for
    the hunting or killing of game in any part of Lake Ellesmere
    in which the water is of a greater depth than 60 cm, except-
    ing such areas as may be decided upon by the North Canter-
    bury Acclimatisation Society, provided that nothing in this
    special condition shall prevent any person using any vessel
    for the purpose of retrieving game that has been killed or
    wounded.

Special Conditions

  1. No person shall use, or cause to be used, on any water
    within the district for the hunting or killing of game any
    fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maimai, or loo, except within a
    distance of 10 metres from the margin of such water in non-
    tidal waters or, from the low-water mark in tidal waters or,
    where raupo abounds, 10 metres from the outside edge of
    such raupo.

Delete:

(5) A section near the creek near the homestead of Mrs
R. J. E. Smith, “Listleigh”, Wedderburn, being
Section 5, Block XI, Naseby S.D.

(7) Ponds on the homestead block of the property of
Mrs E. M. McLeod, known as “The Beeches”,
Waipiata, and that part of Pigburn Creek contained
within Block IV, part section 25, Upper Taieri S.D.

(8) A pond adjacent to the homestead on the property
of Mr Leonard Anderson, Galloway, Central Otago.

(20) Block IV, part Sections 6, 7, and 8, part L.T. 2034,
