Conditions

1. The conditions specified for each Acclimatisation District under this Second Schedule shall apply.
2. This approval will expire at the end of the open season for game specified for each Acclimatisation District.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Ashburton Acclimatisation District

Daily Bag Limits
Grey duck, 25.
Shoveler (or spoonbill), 25.
Mallard duck, 25.
Paradise duck, 6.
Grey, shoveler (or spoonbill), paradise, and mallard duck, 25 in all.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. except that during the period 29 June 1981 to 25 October 1981 inclusive, and 6 February 1982 to 14 March 1982 inclusive, Canada goose may be shot 24 hours per day.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Auckland Acclimatisation District

Daily Bag Limits
Grey duck, 15.
Shoveler (or spoonbill), 15.
Mallard duck, 20 on opening weekend only being 2 and 3 May 1981; 15 on every other day.
Paradise duck, 3.
Grey, shoveler (or spoonbill), mallard, and paradise duck, 20 in all on opening weekend only being 2 and 3 May 1981; 15 in all on every other day.

Shooting hours: 6.30 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Decoy limit: No limit.

Special Conditions

1. Excepting that temporarily moored floating stands may be used, no person shall use or cause to be used for the hunting or killing of game on Lake Waikare any stand, hide, maīmai or loo, which is permanently fixed to the lake bed except within 180 metres of the outer margin of the said lake, or the shore-line of that island known as Motu Nui or Grape Island.
2. No person shall use or cause to be used for the hunting or killing of game on Lake Ngaro to any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maīmai, or loo, except within 85 metres of the margin of the said lake.
3. No person shall use or cause to be used for the hunting or killing of game on Lake Rotokauri any fixed stand, pontoon, hide, maīmai, or loo, on any open water of the said lake.
4. It shall be an offence for any person to wilfully leave on the hunting ground any black swan(s) shot or the mutilated bodies of any black swan(s) shot.
5. It shall be an offence for any person to herd or drive black swan(s) for the purpose of hunting or killing them.
6. It shall be an offence to shoot game from any unmoored boat on the Waikato River north of the boat ramp at the confluence of the Mangawara Stream and the Waikato River at Taupiri on any of the first 3 days or the second weekend of the open season.

Open Season for Game in a Described Area of the Firth of Thames for the 1980 Game Season
An open season for game is declared in that area of the Firth of Thames hereinafter named the Firth of Thames Open Game Area and being that area that is enclosed between the boundary of the Auckland Acclimatisation District and a line connecting the points on that boundary by passing through Oreere Point on the west side of the Firth and the southern headland of Fantail Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula subject to the conditions specified hereto and in the First Schedule.
