PURSUANT to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares the
land, described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart subject
to a mining easement created by conveyance 326244 (R. 424/27),
and Allotment 45 by transfer 172438, and as to the remaining
areas to the mining easement created by conveyance 326244
(R. 424/27), South Auckland Land Registry, for State housing
purposes from and after the 26th day of February 1981.

Declaring Land Taken for a Scheme of Development Being a
Work of Both Local and National Importance Pursuant to
an Agreement Made Under Section 31 of the Finance Act
(No. 3) 1944 in the Borough of Cromwell

PURSUANT to section 32 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works and Development hereby declares that,
a sufficient agreement to that effect having been entered into,
the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to electricity
easement to be created, as shown on D.P. 16798, as to
the land firstly described in the said Schedule and subject to
irrigation agreement 281699 as to the land secondly described
in the said Schedule, is hereby taken for a scheme of develop-
ment being a work of both local and national importance
pursuant to an agreement made under section 31 of the
Finance Act (No. 3) 1944, from and after the 26th day of
February 1981.
